Amsterdam Museum Night

Museum night
Every first saturday of November, Amsterdam museums stay open until 2AM. More than 40 museums collaborate during Museum Night, for example the Van Gogh Museum, Rembrandthuis and the Rijksmuseum.

Apart from seeing the collections and temporary exhibitions there’s plenty to see and do. The programme includes DJ’s, bands, dance, performances, film, food and drinks.

Museumnacht tickets include entrance to all participating museums, free transportation on trams and special Museumnacht boats.

Artzuid

Artzuid Amsterdam
Artzuid, the Amsterdam International Sculpture Route, takes place between May and August. The sculptures will be on display in the south of Amsterdam along Apollolaan, Minervalaan and the Zuidas.

A walk along all the works will take a good two and a half hours. There is a visitor information centre in front of the Hilton Hotel where the map and catalogue are available and guided tours can be booked. Here you can also sip an espresso or enjoy a lunchtime panini at cafè Issimo.

Information boards with maps are situated along the route. The sculpture route is a free event. The sculptures will be illuminated in the evening.
