They serve breakfast, drinks and a light meal. You can dock your (small) boat next to the terrace and even enjoy your beer and some finger food on your boat.

Inside are many preserved elements from the former distillery. Café 't Smalle is located at the Egelantiersgracht, a picturesque side canal of the Prinsengracht, nearby the Western Church and Anne Frank House Museum.

For dinner they serve all the components of a meal separately, you can combine fish, meat, vegetables, potatoes and pasta, however you like it. The terrace outside has a wonderful view on the picturesque Looiersgracht. Festina Lente is a cosy café, serving as a living room outside your own home.

Visitors are locals, students and tourists. In the morning you can have a coffee with homemade apple pie, for lunch they serve soup, salad and sandwiches. Café Thijssen has a large choice of wines and beers, accomponied by finger food.

Outside there is terrace at the side of the cafe but you can also sit at a table on the little square on the Lindengracht.
