Museums in Amsterdam

Amsterdam has a lot of interesting museums, housed on wonderful locations, with a wide variety of themes, subjects and exhibitions.

Amsterdam hosts a couple of world famous museums, such as the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, The Anne Frank House, The Rembrandt House, the contemporary Film museum EYE and the only subsidiary of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Amsterdam's own Hermitage along the Amstel river. But besides these well-known museums, Amsterdam has a lot more to offer.
