There aren’t many department stores or shopping centres in Amsterdam, or at least not in the city centre. De Bijenkorf (The Beehive) is a fashionable, luxury department store with a broad collection of brands and innovative themes. Now owned by Selfridges, it changes more and more into a high-end department store with a store-in-store concept for luxurious (fashion) brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Hermès and Swarovski.

On the top floor you'll find restaurant The Kitchen, a perfect place to rest in between your shopping.

Kalvertoren is home to some 45 shops on three floors, with brands like Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, Replay and Dutch department store HEMA.

On the top floor you will find blue°, a restaurant for lunch and drinks with a great view over Amsterdam city centre. The menu offers a variety of sandwiches, soup, warm lunch dishes and a couple of salads.
