 | THE NEW ART AMSTERDAM 2012 - Contemporary Art Fair Amsterdam 20 - 23 September 2012 RAI Convention & Exhibition Centre, Amsterdam Art Amsterdam will be undergoing a metamorphosis. The art fair will be more exclusive and compact. Art Amsterdam will be held from 20 - 23 September 2012 in the RAI. The number of exhibitors - national and international - will be reduced by well over 30% from 135 to approximately 90. Art Amsterdam will also be shifting from May to September, the start of the cultural season. |

Stedelijk Museum On Sunday 23 September the new Stedelijk Museum will open its doors again. After major renovations of the 1895 building and a futuristic new wing built onto the museum, the time is almost there to admire the new museum and its 90.000 piece of contemporary art collection in its full glory! Until the official opening on the 23rd of September, the Stedelijk is organising lots of other events. For the public program Temporary Stedelijk 3: Stedelijk @, the Stedelijk collaborates with other cultural institutions in the city to organise activities ranging from performances to lectures. Cobra Museum (Amstelveen) The Cobra Museum of Modern Art in Amstelveen ensures that the legacy of the international Cobra Movement remains in the public eye, and that the intellectual heritage of the Movement's artists is kept alive.
